However, a higher gain can be a problem because the high reflection can cause bright hot spots on the screen.

In a dark room grey projector screens with gain greater than 0.8 can be a good option. Either a fixed or retractable projector screen can be installed here. If the room is bright, then the screen needs to be of better quality with a good screen gain. A projector screen with lesser gain may not display the projection in bright colors due to the ambient light. However, a good screen coupled with a good projector can solve this problem. A projector screen can be bought in varying dimensions. From the smaller home theatre screens that measure 92 inches diagonally to the giant screens of an auditorium that can measure in tens of meters, choosing the correct dimension depends on the need.
